The Ashley Centre wants to put the next celebrity chef on the
menu at The Ashley Centre Food Festival on Saturday 27 June. Three
finalists will be selected to prepare and present a simple 15
minute starter in front of a live audience.
Celebrity chef Richard Cawley, a veteran of Ready Steady Cook, who
can spot a star by how they create a starter, will host the
'Kitchen Heats' taking place on Saturday 27 June at 12noon.
The winner will receive a Prize Hamper worth over £200 from
the shops at The Ashley Centre including, House of Fraser, Marks
& Spencer, Cook, and Waitrose.
If you are interested in pitting your culinary skills against
others, simply say- in no more than 50 words - why you think you
have 'The Chef Factor'. Send your answer along with your
name, address, daytime telephone number and a brief description of

The deadline for entries is Wed 24 June
2009. Please note you will only have 15
minutes to prepare your dish.
The Ashley Centre Food Festival will be hosted by celebrity chef
Richard Cawley on Saturday 27th June, between 11am - 4pm.
There will be cooking demonstrations given by Richard along
with food sampling and culinary displays. Richard's shows
will be at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Free 'foodie'
goodie bags will be given to the first 300 guests at Richard's
show.
