The Ashley Centre set to light up Christmas!
12 November 2009
On Saturday 28th November, Christmas celebrations will truly
start as The Ashley Centre turns on its Christmas lights with
a magical day out for the whole family!
From 11am there will be a day of entertainment for children
culminating in the switching on of the lights by Father Christmas
at 5.00pm. This year's switch on will have an Aladdin theme to link
in with the Epsom Playhouse family pantomime, and cast members in
costume plus special guest Dennis the Menace will be on hand to
help Santa and perform a show from the balcony next to
Waterstones.
The day will be Aladdin themed and families will be entertained
from 11am by Arabian characters performing magic, juggling, belly
dancing, stilt walking and more! Children are encouraged to dress
up and the best dressed boy and girl in costume will win family
tickets to the panto! The fancy dress competition will take place
outside House of Fraser at 4.30pm.
The Ashley Centre's brand new Christmas decorations will be
switched on at this time, which reflect the up-market quality of
the key retailers. The new decorations are beautifully classic yet
stylishly modern and have been designed to incorporate the style
and essence of The Ashley Centre's new branding. These bespoke
decorations will ensure a stunning festive display for shoppers to
enjoy!
